Amidst a green-screen manipulation of his life, Gisle Martens Meyer, a Norwegian media artist, performs an electronic music piece with a twist. He plays live, but at the same time we also see a huge cinema screen surrounding him which projects various versions of him. The aim of this music-art performance is to highlight how lives of musicians or anyone in the public eye are like continual music videos that seem to have no end. We see Meyer simultaneously DJ live and appearing on the green-screen in digital selfies, album covers, posters and television footage. Can the public ever truly see past the smoke, mirrors and green screens surrounding the rich and famous?
