Barkin’ Kitchen and The Hidden Factory Barcelona have teamed up to create an exciting new culinary experience called Berlin Abroad; a pop-up restaurant that combines the best culinary triumphs from the two cities. For three nights, chefs from Germany will fuse the modern cuisine of Berlin with the best products from Barcelona in an attempt to create the best of both culinary worlds on one plate. The heart of the project lies in the idea that all of the dishes must use ingredients that are sourced from the La Boqueria market in the Raval, therefore creating an exciting cultural exchange in dining. Chefs Iannis Ritter and Frederik Jagla will create a diverse four-course meal that represents the culinary style and flavours of Berlin right now. There will also be a wide array of German drinks on offer, usually difficult to find in the city. Each day, the two chefs will head to La Boqueria and hand pick fresh ingredients for their dishes.
The four-course meal costs €55 and it’s important to make a reservation, the restaurant will be open from 7pm until 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
