Spanish interdisciplinary artist, Abel Azcona, opens the new season at Hell Gallery with a spectacular solo exhibition, Los Cuerpos (The Bodies). The gallery space is transformed into a surprising installation that explores the body—its origin, virtue and connections (or disconnections) with human life. The installation challenges areas such as the political influences of the church and conservative sectors, channelling the artist’s position within social and political art, and his artistic exploration into various human rights themes.
The exhibition inauguration takes place on September 2nd at 7.30pm, and Hell Gallery will continue to show the live installation until the 4th, giving audiences the opportunity to catch Abel Azcona’s unique and provocative work.
