Every Thursday night, the Hard Rock Cafe offers free concerts by local and international bands and musicians. Metropolitan has teamed up with them to sponsor a different act each month and this month we bring you the rock and blues singer-songwriter, Larry Smith. Half-British and half-American, Smith came of age in the sixties. Living in London in 1967, he heard Jimi Hendrix on the radio and was inspired to learn guitar.
With over 2500 gigs under his belt, Smith is an impressive stage personality, blending powerful guitar playing with an expressive vocal style. Now living in Barcelona, he performs solo and with a newly-formed classic blues-rock trio in addition to frequent collaborations with talented local musicians.
The concert starts at 10pm. Entry free.
