Born in southern New York state, David Cevoli grew up listening to his parents' folk, blues, and jazz records. After living in Spain, Italy, and New York City in the past decade, both the Americana folk-rock genre and traditional as well as modern European genres have made their way into Cevoli's music. The result is a unique blend of worldly influences with constant Sixties and Seventies singer-songwriter undertones.
The David Cevoli Band has gained an intensely loyal following in the Barcelona area, as they have lived here and played all over the city since 2010.
