Sal. Esculturas de sal, Gerard Moliné (2088-2011)
Thirty-five works by Gerard Moliné will be shown for the first time in Barcelona as part of his exhibition exploring the internal logic of nature.
What happens when a cow licks spontaneously and for several days, a salt block? What happens when the hive of a bee colony moulds? According to Moliné, what lies beween art and Art Povera, his exhibition 'Naturalment' gives the answers to these questions.
After being exhibited in cities including Tokyo, London, Brussels, Milan, and more, this show will feature a set of sculptural, plastic works, and installations that all have the same underlying theme: naturally. Moliné says that his pieces reflect on the process by which materials exist in our environment and discover the forms that they can adopt by means of experimentation and the passage of time.
