Gaudí Mágico - Gabi Beneyto
Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudí was a versatile artist. He used a combination of arts and synthesized them into something marvellously unique.
Now, his artworks are internationally recognised and admired. Some attribute the success of his work to discovering the hidden dimensions of his art forms, and consequently consider him to be a visionary, a magician or a mystic.
Although the architecture of Gaudí has been photographed millions of times, what Gabi Beneyto seeks to convey in his photographic exhibition is the sensory journey within Gaudí's architecture. His photography delves into a variety of themes such as the scale of architectural space, how objects merge, the mystery of light and the intensity of their colours, all of which leads to a more intense communicative and intellectual experience and understanding of architecture.
