English artist, David Tremlett, was born in 1945 and studied at London’s Royal College of Art, and now exhibits his work across the globe. Over the last few decades he has gained huge international recognition and support and featured in many respected museums and galleries, including the Tate. The inauguration of this collection will take place on September 29th at the Galería Miguel Marcos. As an artist, sculptor, installation artist and photographer, Tremlett successfully merges a diverse range of styles to make it his own. His most famous pieces dates from the Eighties and saw him adopt the use of pastels in his work, which he describes as a “fragile, delicate powder, so light that you can blow it away, but at the same time you can make something strong, demanding, and structurally tough.”
The collection will be shown from September 29th until November 30th. The inauguration starts at 8pm on September 29th. Entrance is free. More information here.
