People to People is an organisation that aims to provide effective fundraising and organised aid collections for refugees by uniting Barcelona-based action groups and their various networks. On April 8th, People to People is bringing together artists and musicians for a ‘post-work, pre-party’ event, with all proceeds helping to support refugees in Syria, Gaza and other war-stricken areas. Supported charities include One Nation UK’s international relief appeal, which provides an emergency response service, and Musicians without Borders, who use music to bridge divides, connect communities and heal the wounds of war. Last year’s event raised over €1200, and May’s edition is set to top that, with musicians such as Austrian DJ Zora Jones and Jungle musician Sekev performing live on the night.
Sponsored by Moritz and Flea Market Barcelona, the party gets underway at 8.30pm, and entrance costs €5. More information here.
