Francesc Català-Roca. New York Architecture in Colour
Renowned Catalan photographer from the 20th-century, Francesc Català-Roca, is the artist behind the works on show now at the Roca Barcelona Gallery, which take as their theme the buildings and architecture of New York City.
The images aim to highlight the creative achievements (in terms of beauty, magnitude and impact) of the discipline of architecture in one of the places of the world most famed for its buildings. The colour shots also explore the interest that Català-Roca gradually acquired for architecture, which became a particular source of inspiration for him.
