4YFN (4 Years From Now), the Mobile World Congress' sister event, is back for another year of inspiration and innovation, and it promises to be even bigger and better this time around. The four-day event brings together the best mobile start-ups and entrepreneurs with investors, accelerators, incubators and big corporations from the digital and non-digital world.
Now in its third year, 4YFN has grown from a small conference into the city's biggest tech event, pulling in some of the industry's most important movers and shakers. Over 235 keynote speakers, including Werner Vogels of Amazon, Jimmy Wales of Wikipedia, Mike Butcher of Techcrunch and Jimmy Maymann of The Huffington Post, will be sharing their visions of the future and what it all means for start-ups.
The organisers are expecting 12,000 attendees this year. Workshops, networking events and investor meetings will be taking place throughout the four days. Plus there will be a start-up market where some of the best mobile startups from around the world will showcase their latest innovations.
Attendees will also get a chance to view the 24 finalists of the 4YFN Awards, the world's largest startup competition for mobile technologies and business models which will benefit the lives of digital entrepreneurs. These finalists will be in Barcelona to pitch to invest investors, media, potential clients and, of course, the jury. Three will be chosen as the best 4YFN mobile startups of the year.
A four-day pass to the event costs €299. For more information see the 4YFN website.
