Fashion for Feminism
Fashion for Feminism is a Solidarity Market of Clothing and Fashion Accessories for 2014 hosted by Calala, the Feminism Women's Fund. It aims to raise money for women's groups in the Spanish State, Latin America and the Caribbean.
There will be first and second-hand clothes and accessories available from this season. Spring vintage styles, classic, casual and street-wear. With participation from projects and designers such as Staphylococcal Steal Artisan, Carlota and Tatiana, Flip Flop, Lux and Cia, Ring Ring and Dones Association Març Artesanes 8. As well as donations from Armand Basi, La Pelu and Selecta.
There will be different areas for hair, styling and clothes at the event. The Pelu will offer hair cuts to support Calala. There will also be hand treatments, manicures and nail design by Julia Monge and all day makeup workshops and skin care by Isabel Solé. (Reserve your time with her by emailing email@example.com).
From 6 til 9pm DJ Cheikha Brigitte Xuli will play music sessions and at 8pm there will be a raffle with the firms products. Throughout the day food and drinks will be on offer at great prices.
