Going global takes on special meaning at the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four 2011 Barcelona with the announcement of a star-studded charity concert to benefit UNICEF's educational efforts in Africa!
This star-studded charity concert, sponsored by Turkish Airlines, brings together some of the biggest names in Spanish pop to benefit UNICEF's education projects in Africa.
Stars set to perform at the concert include El Pascao, Pablo Alborán, Alexandra Stan, Eliza Doolittle and Robert Ramírez. The charity gig is being held at the Olympic Epslanade, just a stone's throw from the Palau Sant Jordi.
The acts will entertain up to 7,000 lucky fans on Saturday night of the basketball Final Four weekend, with all the profits from ticket sales going directly to UNICEF.
In sub-Saharan Africa, one out of every three children does not have access to primary education, putting their futures at risk. UNICEF's Schools for Africa initiative builds full-service educational facilities for children where they have access to nourishing meals, potable water and health services for a secure and protected environment in which they can enjoy learning.
The concert will take place at the Olympic Esplanade in Barcelona, right next door to Palau Sant Jordi, where the best Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams will battle on Friday 6th and Sunday 8th to become this season's continental champion.
Tickets for the concert can be purchased through Ticketmaster, Entradas.com and the Euroleague ticket service.
