The Espronceda Center for Art & Culture presents ‘Iomramh’, an exhibition showcasing the work of three contemporary Irish artists in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. Richard Hearns, Johnny Fitzsimons and Mark Redden met in 2006, while they were all working at a remote studio in Roscommon, Ireland. Since then, they have travelled far and wide, exploring their creativity together. ‘Iomramh’ is the name given to old Irish tales concerning a hero’s journey via sea to the Otherworld. The works on display draw on the artists' Irish roots using the medium of paint.
The exhibition will open March 17th at 7pm. More information here.
