For this, the 14th Banc Sabadell Festival del Mil.lenni, the celebrated Irish singer-songwriter Neil Hannon will be amongst those entertaining the crowds.
For those of you unfamiliar with Neil Hannon and his group, The Divine Comedy, they produced a number of albums in the Nineties (including Liberation, Promenade and Casanova). The music of Neil Hannon, in the main at least, can be categorised as 'chamber pop', essentially a reaction to the stifling popularity of grunge-based rock at the time. Thus, in direct contravention to musical trends of the Nineties (and even today), Hannon's music often makes use of instruments of a more harmonic ilk (such as horns and members of the string family).
The Divine Comedy perform for one evening only and tickets can be purchased in advance from www.telentrada.com
