Artists Lisa Klappe and Joachim van den Hurk feel passionately about pigeons and their impact upon man's mental state. The two creatures have a traditional link as pigeons were traditionally used as messengers, for military purposes or as meals.
However, the pair focus upon the urban space that we share with the birds and our individual attitudes towards them. Do we regard them as the common pest or a friend from nature? That is what this exhibition explores in a series of eerie images, installations and sculptures.
