Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir
The choir at the Vatican in 2006
One-night-only performance by renowned children's choir from Denmark, which is the official children's choir for the Danish royal family. Founded in the Twenties, the choir is made up of around 80 children aged between nine and 14 (and accompanied by 20 adult males), and as well as singing for the royal family, they have sung around the world in locations including the Sydney Opera House, St Patrick's Cathedral in New York and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space.
At this Barcelona concert, they will sing works by Tomas Luis de Victoria, Enric Granados, Edward Elgar, Felix Mendelssohn and a variety of seasonal Danish songs.
