After the success of a previous film series dedicated to music, Casa Elizalde is hosting a second edition with documentaries featuring extraordinary stories.
On November 3rd, there will be a showing of Cool and Crazy (2001) by Norwegian director Knut Erik Jensen. The cult film tells the spectacular story of a male choir in a Norwegian fishing village. The Guardian called it "the best movie about music since Buena Vista Social Club".
This will be followed up by a showing of 'Nomadak TX' (2006) on November 17th by Spanish director Raul de la Fuente. The film tracks the journey of two Basque people who take their txalaparta percussion around the world and teach native peoples about the beauty of music.
