Barcelona Magic Line is a charity walk organised by the social action group Sant Joan de Déu that works with vulnerable people. It costs €30 to enter and anyone can form a team of 3-25 people that will spend the months prior to the walk fundraising in as many different ways as possible. This year, 10,000 participants are signed up and the teams are hoping to make €200,000 in donations. Unfortunately it’s now too late to sign up for this year’s Magic Line, which will be taking place on February 28th, but there’s still time to come and support the volunteers and their cause at the Fiesta Magic Line. Taking place in front of the Barcelona Cathedral, which is where the participants will finish their walks, Sant Joan de Déu has organised a free concert on February 28th and everyone’s invited. So get down to the Plaça Nova, support those who have been out walking all day and get in on the fun. La Pegatina, Blaumut, Roger Mas, Quico Pi de la Serra, Anna Roig, Joan Colomo and Marc Parrot are the artists that will be attending.
