Another look at the significant impact of designer Ildefons Cerdà on Barcelona, with his design for the expansion (eixample) of the city in the mid-19th century, when it was subject to rapid growth due to the industrial revolution in Barcelona and important political changes. This show is part of the Barcelona History Museum's ongoing research into the modernisation of Barcelona and its presentation of its finding in different formats.
