The children’s theatre organisation, Viu el Teatre, is putting on a series of shows until the end of March, aimed specifically at babies and toddlers aged four and under. The performances, which last only 30 to 40 minutes, are designed to capture the attention of the little ones through different artistic disciplines, including music, puppetry and visual arts. For any theatre-loving new parents who feel like they’ve been missing out on the drama since the birth of their tot, this a fun, child-friendly way to get back into it, whilst simultaneously encouraging the baby’s learning and development. This month, babies and parents will be taken on a sensory journey through the four seasons in Pintamúsica, a show involving live music, a white box, and the colours red, blue, yellow and green. Slightly confused? Good. These shows are meant to be a learning experience for parents as well as children; a shared adventure as babies take their first steps into the world of theatre and art.
Every Saturday until the end of March.
