Casa Batlló at night
The beauty and originality of Antoni Gaudí's Casa Batlló gets a twist of twilight this summer as part of the "Nits Magiques" (Magic Night) event series.
City-goers will be able to enjoy a wide range of live music, mouth-watering buffets and exclusive cocktails with performances from Sergi Vicente, Olga Kobekina, Aires de rumba and Laura Simó.
The house was originally bought by textile industrialist Josep Batlló in 1900, who, wanting to stand out from the rest of the Passeig de Gràcia, hired Gaudí to redesign it in 1904.
The result is the exquisite piece of "Art Nouveau" which the locals lovingly call the Casa dels ossos (House of Bones).
The Nits Magiques runs from June 18 through September 27, Wednesday to Saturday; doors opening at 9pm. Ticket prices vary. For more information, click here.
