Buraka Som Sistema are an electronic dance group from Portugal who have combined their Angolan roots with a European twist in order to create their own unique style.
The Portuguese band of the year for 2009, they have attracted fans across Europe and Africa with their techno-kaduro style, in which they relate to the funk rhythms from the ghettos along with their native sounds.
