Although perhaps better known for their vintage fairs, Brick Lane BCN are to host a pop-up cinema event this August. For those of you unfamiliar with the 'Pop-up' concept, it basically entails the emergence of a place of entertainment (be it a restaurant, shop, or cinema) on a temporary basis (usually for a matter of days or weeks).
Running for five days this August, Brick Lane BCN´s pop-up cinema will be showing films of an 'illegal/gangsta' bent on their private terrace in El Born. The schedule is as follows:
Scarface (Thursday 9th August)
Snatch (Friday 10th August)
Drive (Sunday 12th August)
Casino (Monday 13th August
Pulp Fiction (Tuesday 14th August)
Doors open 8:00pm and the film itself will start at 9:15pm. Admission is €5 but the event's sponsered by Budweiser so you'll get a free beer on entry. There's also going to be a 'Bread and Circuses' food stall in case you get peckish.
