The ADN Gallery is no stranger to staggering visuals, so it is only fitting that controversial Swedish artist Tobias Bernstrup showcases his second ever solo exhibit here. With a background in performance art, Bernstrup´s stage persona is known for his latex suits and heavy make-up. He brings his sense of theatricality to ¨Body 5 Arrives¨ where he sets out to explore the frontiers between male and female and the real and imaginary. Busting out of the performance box, this exhibit features paintings, costume sketches, sculpture and videos. The exhibit plunges the spectator into a visual hybrid: science fiction movie meets sado-masochistic cabaret.
