What started as a casual hobby quickly turned into a burgeoning career, when, in 1962, Bill Wyman successfully auditioned as bassist for the Rolling Stones. Two years later, the band´s self-titled debut sky-rocketed the band to international fame and introduced to the world a band that would become one of the most influential groups in music, defining the rock&roll genre. Wyman played with Jagger, Richards and the rest until the group's disbandment. Although the group reunited in 1989, Wyman announced his departure in 1992 and has since become the bassist for Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, a blues rock band that has released four albums since its inception. The award-winning band are prolific performers, touring mostly Europe and the UK during their 13 year-long career.
