It's a flea market, it's a celebration and it's for a fantastic cause. Esperança is a group of volunteers who go out four times a week on two different route to give food, clothing and a bit of love to the homeless on the streets of Barcelona. This Saturday, the group is hosting a flea market at Betty Ford's in Raval and all proceeds go towards feeding the homeless on the streets of the city.
With plenty of great bargains on offer, and some excellent raffle prizes up for grabs (which have all been donated by local people and residents), you can spend to your heart's content, whilst helping to provide essentials, such as food, sleeping bags and toiletries. There will also be DJs playing throughout the afternoon as well as food and drink, including homemade cupcakes, to keep you going while you shop. A fun and worthwhile way to spend your Saturday afternoon.
