Despite suffering a decline during the Fifties, the havaneras continue to share their music sounds and envious talents with audiences around the world. In the past, havanera songs were popular with Spanish and Catalan audiences, indenting their sound in Barcelona’s history. This weekend, the Gran Trobada d’Havaneres Cara al Mar present an evening of tradition, culture and flamed rum, allowing audiences to take in the authentic sounds whilst relaxing by the sea.
