Lars Vogt is a German concert pianist and conductor. Born in the town of Düren in 1970, Vogt first rose to prominence after winning second prize at the 1990 Leeds International Piano Competition. Since then, he has gone on to give major concerto and recital performances around the world, and has established himself as one of the leading instrumentalists of his generation. On May 26th, the 45-year-old comes to Palau de la Música, performing works of Bach and Beethoven.
