In regards to gastronomy, ‘good, clean and fair’ is Slow Food's motto. The organisation, in association with the Earth Market international network of farmers' markets, hosted the first Mercat de la Terra in Poble-sec in 2015. The market is back this year in Plaça de les Tres Xemeneies on a weekly basis, with a focus on good quality, local food and ethical trading. It will showcase a range of local food and seasonal products, as well as tapas tastings, live music, cooking workshops and a kids area for the little ones.
