Hailing from Quincy, Massachusetts, the Dropkick Murphys are an American Celtic punk band of Irish descent, formed in 1996. Known for their loud, energetic live shows, the Dropkick Murphys made a name for themselves in and around Boston with regular tours and legendary St. Patrick's Day performances. Their song "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" was featured in the Academy Award-winning film The Departed, and in 2002 they collaborated with punk legends, The Sex Pistols, to 'celebrate' the Queen's 50th anniversary.
They will be performing on February 17th at Razzmatazz as part of their Celtic Punk Invasion Tour.
