Artte are hosting live music acts throughout the month of May. Here are the events you can go to on Saturday mornings starting at midday—a wide variety of music with sounds coming from all of the world.
Saturday 9th, 12pm.
MU and Christobel will present a series of ballads—some of their own work and some borrowed for the occasion—with Christobel on the piano.
Saturday 16th, 12pm.
Mel Seme Jams is a project that explores and experiments with rhythm and harmony. Expect calm melodies and poetic lyrics that echo the rhythms of jazz, groove and world music. The group will perform with a guitar, drums, saxophones, percussion and keyboards.
Saturday 23rd, 12pm.
This duo are back on the stage with their authentic sounds originating from Brazil. Mu Mbana being a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, poet and composer, and together they present an organic mix of sounds and lyrics.
Saturday 30th, 12pm.
For some Greek fusion, don’t miss the Asikides Dúo performance with Yannis Papaioannou, a lutenist-multi-instrumentalist, together with singer and percussionist Aberto Pérez. They will perform a personal vision of Greek traditional music in an intimate environment.
