An artistic icon in Barcelona, Antoni Tàpies is showing his most recent mixed media paintings at Galeria Toni Tàpies. Tàpies has been active internationally for decades, and made his particular mark in the Fifties when he began using unusual materials (straw, corn and sand) in surrealistic themes, but is best loved for his abstract expressionist paintings.
