Award-winning painter Antoni Boronat has carved an impressive career over six decades, during which he has presented nearly 100 exhibitions of his work. In 1969, he had to have intensive surgery, which was performed by Dr Joaquim Barraquer, a procedure which saved the artist's eye-sight. This exhibition, which benefits the Barraquer foundation, is a mark of Boronat's appreciation to his doctor, because "with his artist's hands in surgery, he has made it possible for me to re-discover colours."
