This week's selection of books includes Menorca talaiòtica, la prehistòria de l'illa (Editorial Triangle, 2015). It focuses on Menorca's Talaiotic period and the society that existed on the most Eastern Baleric islands during the Iron Age. The guide highlights Menorca's efforts to steer itself away from receiving seasonal tourists in an attempt to ensure sustainable and quality tourism for the island.
Also featured this week is Los inuit. Cazadores del Gran Norte (Nova Casa Editorial, 2015). This book aims to show us the world of hunting and fishing villages, the themes affecting the inuit society today, including global warming and pollution.
