The music from the Aestuarium album by Jessica Kenney and Eyvind Kang is contemplative and completely acoustic, exploring the relationship between the musical art of both voice and viola by intentionally breaking the barriers between them.
Kenney's voice enters Kang's viola like a river into the sea, the two flow into one, as reflected in the album title, Aestuarium (estuary), as they become indistinguishable, in a strange symbiosis timbre.
