Artist A.A. Rucci, whose most recent works are now showing at the Galéria Fidel Balaguer, was born in 1967 in Germany and now lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2011, Gean Moreno described Rucci's characteristic tondos (round works of art) as "rather strange, different from his other paintings." There is a hidden depth beneath the gleeful colours, quirky narratives and harmonious geometries, which Rucci has been making for 20 years.
