180º de Cel
180º de cel is a reflection on our current prison system. What is its purpose? Is it useful and effective? The play, performed by La Virgueria theatre company, argues that the more years spent in prison, the more difficult it becomes to integrate back into 'normal' society.
The performance is a reflection on the prison system and the evil of confining people, as well as reflecting on the ability of the system to reintegrate prisoners, how we can forgive, let prisoners forgive themselves and turn over a new leaf.
180º de cel will be performed in Catalan at Teatre Tantarantana from June 7th to July 1st: performances from Wednesday to Saturday start at 9pm and Sundays at 7pm. Ticket prices are €15 on Wesnesdays and Thursdays, and €18 all other days. The duration of the performance is 1 hour 30 minutes.
