TMB take disciplinary action against a driver who joked about a bomb threat on the train. Two TMB staff on line 1 of the metro joked over the PA system that there was a bomb on the train. The incident happened yesterday at 8.30am and it was a full 30 seconds before passengers realised the two colleagues were joking after one of them starting mocking a North African passenger. Rajoy of PP says 'The Pope is the best thing to ever happen to Catalan'. When the Pope comes to Barcelona on Sunday he will address the crowd in Catalan as well as Castilian and Latin. Rajoy said yesterday that this will put Catalan and the Catalans on the map and demonstrates that there's no need to legislate on the use of Catalan in public institutions (read the article in Castilian here, La Vanguardia).
