You have just a few days left to make sure you're registered on the electoral roll if you want to be able to vote in the upcoming municipal elections.
On May 22nd, council elections will be held in Catalunya and citizens from EU member countries as well as those from countries that have a reciprocal voting agreement with Spain (New Zealand, Colombia, Ecuador, Norway, Paraguay, Peru and Chile), will be able to take part providing they have registered with their local town hall by April 11th.
If you're not sure whether or not you're registered, you should go to your local town hall (Ajuntament) and ask to check the electoral roll (cens electoral). Don't forget to take your original NIE card or document, where applicable, as well as a photocopy of it, in case you're not registered and want to do the process there and then.
