LA VANGUARDIA (Castilian / Catalan)

The Catalan government has offered land in the municipality of Viladecans for the proposed 'Eurovegas' casino complex - a decision on its location is due by the summer; Rajoy calls on Basque political party Amaiur to work for the complete dissolution of ETA, saying it's the only problem left to sort out in the Basque country; Thousands of people take part in job 'casting' at W Hotel, which is looking to fill some 100 job posts.

EL PERIODICO (Castilian / Catalan)

Thousands of students take to streets in Valencia, the third day in a row of protests; CiU accuses Catalan Socialist Party (PSC) of partisanship for breaking off relations with it; Spanish Television (TVE) has apologised for a false news story that was used to open its news programme 'La 2 Noticias' last November.

EL PUNT-AVUI (Catalan)

The Filmoteca de Catalunya has opened its new Raval venue to the public - classic musical West Side Story is amongst the opening programme; Taxi drivers agree measures for the sector to deal with crisis and reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
