Anyone looking for a new pet, specifically dogs and cats, should visit the Palau Sant Jordi between 23rd and 25th October, 2009, where Barcelona's Animal Shelter (Centre d'Accollida d'Animals de Companyia de Barcelona, CAAC) is holding a special weekend presenting animals that have been abandoned. Experts will be on hand to provide information and answer questions, and those people who spot an animal they'd like to take home, the adoption can be organised straight away.
