  • An Irish holiday

Halloween, while celebrated theoughout the world, actually has it's roots in Ireland. As a Pagen festival, the Celts celebrated it as their biggest holiday of the year, a sort of new year holiday. The church later adopted it to appease it's new converts and called it 'all hallows eve' and later Halloween. So rather than a 'very american' holiday, it's actually an Irish holiday. Like New York- we are happy to share it with you!
