Those of you who like film will undoubtedly already know about the Verdi Cinema chain. Loved by many thanks to their policy of showing films in versión original and commitment to screening lesser-known foreign language films, the chain are now putting on a series of flicks for the serious cinephile.
Verdi Nights is a cycle of films, all of which have perhaps missed out on being shown on the big screen, are classics which have been re-edited or have, for some reason or another, remained unnoticed.
Split into different categories, depending on their theme, there's Asian, Horror and Classic Club to choose from.
From October 21st they'll be screening Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven (Días del Cielo) and Kim Jee-Woon's I Saw the Devil (Encontré al Diablo).
