Briton Martin Parr has long been recognised as one of the key photographers of his generation, with his images capturing an enduring middle-class lifestyle that is enjoyed by many of his countrymen, making his shots familiar to some and an enigma to others. Since 1994, he has been a member of the Magnum Photo Agency, and continues to produce images that employ vivid colours and humour in equal measure.

Horacio Fernández talks about Parr as part of a series of discussions on photographers entitle Iconos. Maestros de la fotografía en imégenes.

Organised by the Obra Social Caja Madrid in collaboration with the Funació Foto Colectania.

Tuesday March 16th, Espai Cultural Caja Madrid (Plaça Catalunya 9), 7pm. Entrance is free, but space is limited; you can collect a ticket in advance from the Espai Cultural between 10am and 9pm.
