OTOXO Productions has created a school for novice documentary film-makers that offers opportunities to learn the art of making films at a fraction of the cost of traditional schools.
Based in Barcelona, OTOXO has a background of making documentaries focusing on social issues, for which they have picked up various awards, and had their work screened both in Spain and across the world. Recent films include La Lliga (2011) and The Basic Ingredients (2013).
Run by two Brits, John and Tom, they are aiming to share their knowledge and experience with a new generation of film-makers with their Into Industry Programme. This offers a variety of packages, such as documentary making for TV and short documentaries for online media, run in collaboration with local media organisations.
