  • chill out bar

If you want somewhere a bit diffferent with vibrant colour schemes, a touch of the morrocan kasbah meets ethnic psychadelia try BAR MANTRA on Carrer Salva off the Avenida de Paral-lel. A bar and teteria with the best trance, reggae & chillout music in Barcelona. Opens around 7pm until late. Well worth a visit.

  • ELEPHANTA, teas, cocktails and wi-fi

ELEPHANTA is one of these secret bars that not everybody knows (luckilly!). It's a little space with a lot of options: wi-fi, art expos that change wvery 3 weeks, 40 different teas (in Summer.. cold tea!), specials gintonics, handmade cookies, free "tapa" with the beer... It's a quiet place during the afternoon, but in the night.. Better if you go early to fins some place... Near the PLAÇA DE LA VIRREINA, near the CINES VERDI, just go, EVERY DAY from 18h. You can speak with any of the people working there, they love what they do, you can play chess, or read some of the travel magazines that they have. GO, YOU WILL ENJOY IT!

  • Tapas bar

I love tapas and I can't find recommendations on tapas bar. The other day I've just discover next to Mercat de la Boqueria a new tapas bar called La Bodega 1800 (c/carme 31). It's lovely and you can also buy excellent catalan and spanish wines after having a glass of wine and some delicious tapas!
