Artfutura opens its doors for the 20th time at the end of this month to reveal and celebrate the work currently being done in the worlds of digital culture, new media, interactive design, video games and digital animation. If a week is a long time in politics, 20 years is practically infinity in those fields for all but the most genned-up technophile. And yet, Artfutura is still managing to innovate with two new sections this year: ‘Reality Bytes’ featuring new documentaries and ‘Futura Graphics’, which will feature motion graphics and videoclip work. In addition, expect the usual exhibitions, conferences and some flash-mobbing from Improv Everywhere.
