1. The OU Business School

The Open University Business School allows students to further their education without leaving work through flexible distance learning programs. Barcelona Business School (BBS) is a private, international business school based on the American educational model. BBS offers flexible business and management studies at the undergraduate and graduate level and incorporates classroom theory with real-life applications in an English-speaking environment.

3. EADA

Founded in 1957, EADA was one of the first Spanish institutions to offer executive training programmes to the professional community. In 2008, the Financial Times ranked EADA first in Spain for value for money and fifth in the world for career progress.

4. EAE Business School

Both degrees and postgraduate courses are on offer at EAE (Escuela de Administración de Empresas de Barcelona), along with programmes aimed at executives. With more than 50 years' history and over 50,000 students receiving qualifications from there, EAE has an international reputation, with people coming from 45 different countries to study there. It is now part of the Grupo Planeta, which has helped solidify its position and resources.

ESADE was founded in the Fifties by Catalan professionals and entrepreneurs who envisioned an education that would equip students with professional and management skills. Since then, ESADE has grown to include a Business School and Law School with over 550 students per year. In 2006 and 2007, The Wall Street Journal ranked ESADE the international business school of choice in the business world.

6. ESEC Toulouse Barcelona Business School

The Barcelona campus, located in the centre of town in Carrer Trafalgar, was created in 1995 by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Barcelona—it is part of the Group ESC Toulouse, which in 2008 was ranked number 17 in the Financial Times list for the world's best 'Masters in Management'. The school here offers BAs and MAs in Management, taught in English.
