The beautiful surroundings of the Fundación Francisco Godia play host to an equally attractive initiative this month, an art auction to raise money to pay for chronically ill children to take a trip or enjoy a special activity. Important artists including Antoni Tàpies, Susana Solano and Daniel Canogar (whose work is pictured above) have donated a total of 62 works to the IlusionArte exhibition, which is open to the public for three days. On the evening of the third day, a silent auction will be followed by a live sale, with funds going to the Spanish charity Fundación Pequeño Deseo (Small Wish Foundation), which has worked since 2000 providing memorable holidays and experiences to children from all over the country.
